Ok can we talk snack bars for a second?!

Here’s what I know…I used to have the mindset of “OH I’ll eat a protein bar as a meal” — thinking it was a good choice 🤦🏻♀️…WHAT?!? (This was many of my miseducated naive choices years ago).

NOW with a better understanding of not just looking at nutritional fact labels (oh it’s 100calories perfect –✋🏻 *wrong*!!)
.
AND looking at the ingredient list —feeling confident and comfortable with ingesting what’s on that list. I’ve learned that MANY of those bars I was eating were loaded with additives that were just fillers and nothing truly beneficial to feeding my body right.

I’m happy to announce I’ve found some bars I can comfortably add to my *OK BARS list*. Ones to use as a quick snack if I forgot to grab something else or if I’m out and about and time got away from me and need to eat a quick bite before a real meal (& before a sugar drop and I start to feel icky!)
