Day 7 of 80. *long post but worth it*
My group had finished week 1 and fired up for week 2. I asked them to share some
of the changes they’ve noticed (notice I didn’t require or ask them to weigh in or measure inches…I just wanted them to share what they’ve noticed!)
It was great to see some of these comments (here’s just a handful) & AGAIN this is just 7 Days of commitment:
🙂-I feel like my arms and upper body already look better. I have a lot of energy
🙂-Somebody noticed I’d lost weight already. I haven’t got on the scale to check. I’m in no hurry! I feel better about myself tho. I notice I have a little more energy and motivation. I’m totally committed to meal prep and getting it right. I have a plan and I’m sticking to it.
🙂-My tummy is definitely flatter and my legs are more defined. I had another teacher comment on how I looked. But still not weighing it until the end of phase one.
🙂-I have pants I haven’t fit into fitting 🙂 most days I have energy again.
🙂-I noticed that I dont feel so bloated
🙂-Physically, no BIG changes, a little stronger, but nothing major yet.. Waking up in the mornings to work out is not a struggle anymore, and one thing I could NEVER do before was eat right. I am so amazed at how simple it is when the food is ready and in the fridge.. I haven’t craved any bad good yet at all.
🙂-I haven’t had any major changes yet (key word is yet – I know it’ll come) I do have an increased amount of energy and I am definitely getting stronger I used to have to do push-up on my knees and I did 6 regular push ups 🙌🏼 I am less bloated too!
👏🏻❤️These were GREAT to read 🙂 but I also know some were hoping to see more — and why wouldn’t we. We live in an instant gratification mindset/life – so why not be seeing more when we’ve been putting in the effort?!? Well that inspired me to put my #coachhat on and share this from my ❤️ with them-I KNOW that this happens more often then not AND QUITE OFTEN is what leads to *giving up*. It’s so important to keep your head on straight and focused on the big WHY and reason for starting a health, wellness, &/or fitness journey!! Maybe this #peptalk will be what you needed to hear yourself while on your journey! 🙂
“🗣Please do not let the mind take over in a negative sabotaging way during this journey. YES. I TOTALLY GET IT. Some days it will. But that’s when you COME TO this group and WE WiLL all support you 100% to GET BACK OUT OF THAT MINDSET!!
Some messages I received stated they noticed lbs were up. I DONT like to require weight check this early BECAUSE our bodies are adjusting. The scale and inches to often start to become a “definition” of ourselves vs just a measurement.
I saw this image today and did some looking up about it. Read a little and a study about this. Whoosh effect. We’ve all heard of ”water retention” is a huge factor that will play into this journey…just TRUST the process. Love what you’re doing. Think of how GREAT you are nourishing your body from the inside out-FEEDing your body right and the benefit of MOVING on your bones, muscles, joints, etc.
It’s starts on the inside and WILL reflect on the outside. Stay focused. Let’s lean on each other. LETS DO THIS!!🗣”
