Had a family brunch today and made a tasty breakfast bake 🙂 I did this just by eye basically and how I wanted to create it— so I don’t have exact measurements BUT that’s what makes this easy and customizable.
.
This is a great idea for an “all in one” breakfast dish to pass.
Ingredients:
Cheddar Cheese (amount to personal preference)
Milk (or alternative)
Shredded Hashbrowns (large bag or make your own)
Eggs (dozen)
Onion (1)
Pepper (Red & Yellow)
Sausage (ground bulk – not links) (1lb)
Bacon (lb unsure as I bought local and forgot to look at what it weight was -oops)
PS: BEST in my opinion when made from local goods! #supportlocal (see your local farmer for meat/eggs and farmers market if in season for produce)
.
To make:
Bacon in oven while cooked sausage on stove and prepped onion and pepper.
.
Saute onion and peppers until tender
.
Brown hashbrowns
.
Greased 2 baking dishes – split hash browns and veggies between two dishes. Add bacon to one. Sausage to the other. Mix in some handfuls of cheese. Mix eggs and add milk (mixed by eye – didn’t measure). Poured over two dishes – enough to cover (with some of the goodies still popping through)
Bake 400degrees until cooked through.
ENJOY!
