When it comes to books I discovered that listening to them was the best way for me to “get a book in”. I do love to read and having a book in hand BUT I often found I’d fall asleep (it would relax me that much YES even a book I’d be VERY into) or I’d start to get distracted and think of all the other things I should be doing. .
I was given this book about 3 months ago. It’s taken me time to finish…NOT because it’s long,boring or bad, but because it’s a “sensitive subject”, a “help and healing” book, and I always have other things to do.
.
I wanted to enjoy the sunshine today and get some work done but the glare was to much on my computer SO I decided to grab a book and this was the one…I decided to just submerge myself back into it.
.
This chapter SPEAKS to me in so many levels.
1. It’s speaking my passion
2. This was huge for me during my time of struggle.
.
Exercise is not ONLY for one to rev up their metabolism and burn calories BUT it can be so much more! #therapeutic #dailydoseofmedicine
.
So many people can benefit from fitting some fitness into their day…to often people find excuses to not!
.
To just START something NO MATTER where you are in your journey of this life! Happy. Sad. Busy. Bored. — Start something. — Focus one day at a time. –>BUT START! It does so much for you mentally, emotionally, and physically!!
.
{and for a little something extra to back that up: C. H. Rollins showed in one study that psychological fitness is a function of physical fitness. He found that improvement in individuals on psychological measures of anxiety, depression, self-confidence, adjustment, work efficiency, and sleep behavior was directly related to physical fitness improvement. “Psychologist Fitness as a Function of Physical Fitness”-Archives of Physical Medicine and a Rehabilitation.}
