I can’t preach enough about nutrition and the IMPORTANCE of feeding your body good nutrition!!

Yesterday I attended a session with Tony Horton (don’t know who that is just google him LOL) and part of his talk he spoke about nutrition. I get so fired up, motivated, and passionate about nutrition when I’m around like minded people.

I GET IT…”LIVE LIFE”…”ENJOY FOOD”…but you know what–> I believe strongly in 1 thought process and I have since I made a more conscious change in MY DIET — NOT *A* Diet– MY DAILY FOOD CONSUMPTION aka My Diet.

–> Eat cleaner!

– WHAT IS CLEAN EATING??

Simply said – clean eating is eating food in its most natural state.

Eating foods our GREAT GREAT Grandparents ate.
.
Think about it like this–> An apple is better for you than applesauce but yet applesauce is better for you than apple pie (as long as you don’t add a ton of sugar in your applesauce).

Finding foods with the least amount of ingredients possible. Earth grown foods are best!

Soooo closest to what you find in nature! Ie. You find corn in nature–not corn bread.

Aim to eliminate most, if not all, processed foods (shoot for 1/2 at least to start!) from your diets, and foods with added chemicals and artificial colors and sweeteners.

YES–it can seem tricky at first, but it’s doable and worth it!! When you make your own food you know what every ingredient is that is put in. You will feel good about what you’re putting in your body AND your body will let you know that!
