Yea. You see that correctly!
I’ve been a shake drinker for a lonnnnnng time. All the way back to high school and college I would try different shakes and it wasn’t until I educated myself more on nutrition and ingredients that I realized I WAS NOT doing my body any good by feeding it fillers and artificial ingredients.
I started to then play around with making my own. I used things like:
You get the picture. I’m all about Whole Foods and using food sources and quality ingredients! BUT I found my shake soul mate and it took EVERYTHING i was doing and SIMPLIFIED IT for me AND always tastes good.
NOW I still add in some fruit sometimes. Some spinach too. Depending on how my meals have been throughout the day. If you’re a follower you’ve probably caught some of my recent shares about eating BALANCED and feeding your body nutrients from different “categories – fruit, protein, carbs, healthy fats, veggies”. Well today I was low in that *green* group and needed some veggies pronto lol. Soooo I decided to give this a try. Guess what!? You would have never even known!!
Cup of Riced cauliflower
1/4 frozen banana
Tbsp cacao Powder
Vanilla Collagen Peptides
8oz Unsweetened Cashew Milk
2oz of water
Blended and Delish!!!
