Battery LIFE

Phone battery shows capacity 0-100%

.

If you use that same ‘scale’ what is YOUR ‘capacity’? —your battery *life* capacity??!

.

The American Psychological Association released a study stating that in general Americans understand the importance of their healthy behaviors (eating right ,sleep, activity) BUT they report challenges practicing these behaviors— They report being *to busy*!

.

*To BUSY* will drain your battery!

.

Like you get a warning sign of low battery on your phone…we also get warning signs in real life too! ⚠️

.

What are YOUR warning signs when you’re at the end of your capacity?

Emotionally:

-Sad

-Temper

-Lack of patience

-Irritated

-Overwhelmed

-Anxious

-Dread

-or….

Physically:

-Lack of self care (sleep, activity, daily life obligations)

.

ALSO just like to many photos/apps etc can drain your phone life and reduce capacity.

In the same way —> burning yourself out in a boat load of activities, or with possessions etc can clutter up your life, drain emotional reserves, and kill your “battery”.

.

Does that sound like something you can relate to?

.

Maybe it’s time to make some changes. 💡🤯

.

-What can you ‘discard’ to gain capacity in your life?

AND REMEMBER like a phone — when the battery life gets low — YOU TAKE the time to recharge it—what RECHARGES you? What, where, when do you get away to recharge? Start taking that time for YOURSELF!

.

Work on making some changes to feel less “warning signs” and less “busy” so you can live a FULLfilling Life 🙂

.

Check out the book *Breaking Busy* — this book is a new favorite in my collection — like my notes above — it’s full of insight and really helps draw attention to areas in life, that you too may agree, could use some work 😍😘

I am 40 yrs. old -a Wife and Mother of 4 (Funny Double Digit Boy, my Rainbow Baby Sassy Girl, my Blue Eyed Silly Boy, and my Sweet-as-can-be Baby Girl). Once a dance instructor and fitness studio owner (closed the doors in 2020). I found my passion in Fitness and Coaching after leaving my Emotionally Taxing Case Management Position. I love to work out on my own AND with others! Throughout all 5 of my pregnancies I continued to work out on my own, run, and with Beachbody programs. I know and understand the self discipline it takes to achieve your desired goals and I am still on that path and have my struggles as everyone else does! I love to offer my support to my clientele with group fitness classes I offer in my community and I feel we work as a team all together to HELP each other. I LOVE offering my support via the web too as I REACH other people that I can't physically see. IT IS AMAZINGLY rewarding and I can't imagine NOT having that as part of my life! Im currently on my postpartum journey once again and so GRATEFUL and BLESSED to live this healthy lifestyle, lead by example for my family, and support others on their journey too!
