Working Hard at HARDLY WORKING!!.

Say what?

.

Working hard AT HARDLY working. What do I mean by that!?

.

I’ve made big changes in my OWN journey of Health and Wellness in the past few weeks. Actually BIG LIGHTBULB since 7/22/17. I made some choices that day that weren’t easy on myself.

.

I decided LESS is MORE.

.

I’ve been so hesitant to share this image because social media opens doors for a range of opinions BUT I remind myself THIS IS my personal page and property. Maybe my struggles are relatable to someone else. I took it as a post workout selfie for a group I’m in and it just lead to this #deardiary moment.

.

This image is part of my personally journey & struggles that all connect back 5 Months ago. #blogpost to come. A few weeks ago, reflecting on what was more important in my life, I decided to listen to my own advice.

.

HONOR MY BODY!!

.

Surprised myself really!! I slowly discovered Less is More!

.

•I’ve CUT BACK my workouts!

-I workout for myself no more than 25-45minutes & IF I run my max distance has been 7miles BUT mostly ranging between 3.5-6 AND only 2x a week (that’s a change for me! My runs religiously were 3x a week– 7-8miles 2x a week and 13miles 1x a week).

•I’ve dialed in my nutrition to #CLEANeating and balanced! What’s that? If I can’t grow it or catch it…I’m not eating it AND I’m eating a balanced portion of healthy fats, veggies, protein, fruits, carbs, etc. (I’m not saying indulgences don’t exist in my life–don’t get me wrong– but they’re not craved all that often either).

.

Soooo….YUP!! Working Hard at HARDLY working!! Less IS More! & I FEEL GREAT!!!

.

You CAN do this! Know the HARDEST part about it!! MINDSET!!
-The MINDSET to say SLOW DOWN is challenging like the MINDSET to say Get Off the Couch!

-The MINDSET to accept and believe that YOUR BODY needs balance!

-The MINDSET to admit when you’re doing to much or not enough.

-The MINDSET to believe YOU ARE WORTH IT!

-The MINDSET to HONOR your Body!
.

So where are you at? Let’s talk!

.

-Sarah

I am 35 yrs. old -a Wife and Mother to a Beautiful Boy and my Rainbow Baby Girl. I am a dance and fitness instructor. I own a fitness studio where I offer a variety of fitness classes in the evenings. I recently have become a FULL TIME Fitness Coach after 3+ years of working as a Day Care Assistant after having my Son and leaving my Emotionally Taxing Case Management Position. Fitness is my passion! I love to work out on my own AND with others! Throughout my both of my pregnancies I continued to work out on my own and with Beachbody programs, live my dream of being a work from home mom (for most of the day), and teach at my studio (and other locations) in the evening. After the birth of my son I have worked hard to get my pre-preg. body back. Shaun T's T25 was initial program and then Tony's P90X3 BOTH which I loved the short affective times because with having a newborn baby that was EXACTLY what I needed. I know and understand the self discipline it takes to achieve your desired goals and I am still on that path and have my struggles as everyone else does! I love to offer my support to my clientele with group fitness classes I offer in my community and I feel we work as a team all together to HELP each other. I LOVE offering my support via the web too as I REACH other people that I can't physically see. IT IS AMAZINGLY rewarding and I can't imagine NOT doing what I do! Im currently on my postpartum journey once again and so GRATEFUL and BLESSED to live this healthy lifestyle, lead by example for my family, and support others on their journey too!
