My journey is my own. #peace #love.
Haters will hate. People will say ‘she doesn’t need to lose weight’. Not every journey is just about physical need or desire. MANY are emotional, mental, and/or medical!!
.
All to often WOMEN find the need to compare to others journeys and find it easier to criticize each other vs. build each other up. We don’t know what’s going ‘On’ with each other day to day. We need to STOP assuming and criticizing on others and be supportive instead!!

*Long Unapologetically Me Post*
.
4 months ago I was at a healthy, safe, normal, average weight and size for myself. SURE….currently right now I’m a healthy and safe size also. So what’s my post about? Here’s my journey. Here’s my why!
.
For ME. 3 of those 4 months I dealt with ALL DAY on off sickness. Not just morning sickness. Bananas and Oatmeal became my friend lol.
.
Pregnancy hormones do a wonder to you body. So with those pregnancy hormones and the nausea being self-medicated with those two foods I gained 12lbs and was steadily increasing. Normal for me as I gained most of my weight in my first trimester during my first pregnancy and acceptable with providing a healthy space for my growing baby. But in my short stature that’s quite a bit and I already wasn’t fitting my clothes.
.
After finding out at 12 weeks we lost the baby –> Mission IMpossible came into full force. I needed to feel me again. I knew that the extra weight I had gained wasn’t doing my body any good (physically, emotionally, mentally) at that point anymore and I didn’t want to go out and buy new clothes. I wanted to fit in the clothes I had at home. I also knew that in time, when the time was/is right, I hope to get pregnant again and I don’t need to tack on weight to the already gained weight.
.
Some may “hate” on this post. But THIS IS Unapologetically Me!! This is my journey. I OWN IT. I don’t need the reminder of losing my baby every time I try to put on my clothes that don’t fit. I want to feel the old me, the still healthy, the average size, ME.
.
