In a recent book I was reading it mentioned how Psychologist say we are born with two fears.
•Loud noise and falling.
–> All other fears are learned.
Think about how many fears you have. I do this whenever something like that statement above is said or brought to my attention.
The more exposure in life we have the more fears we develop right?! Any innocent baby born doesn’t know or have a clue….it isn’t until we grow and age that we fill our mind with fears.
Many of our fears are little & silly right?🙈
-fear of heights?
-fear of spiders?
-FEAR of what others will think?!
-FEAR of failing?!
Then some are more debilitating. 😧
-agoraphobia for example
Then realistic fears 🔥
-legit dangerous situations
Today was my ‘first day’ back to the normal routine. I immediately noticed I had NEW fears. Ones that made me want to just be a hermit and not leave my house. BUT I know I couldn’t and can’t live like that!!
Soooo….those *little* fears? The ones that hold us back? Stop us from trying things? Chasing your dreams? OR JUST Living life!?
What if you let them control you!? What if we didn’t put ourselves out there. YOU WILL be missing so much!! You’ll never KNOW what could happen.
Be in control! Challenge your fears (as long as its smart and safe)!
