Pinch of ‘Perfectly Healthy’

I was shocked when I opened my FB and saw posts/articles about Lady Gaga’s haters hating on her ‘not ideal body’. I guess I’m not surprised that OF COURSE people would be holding a celebrity to a high standard and expect perfection. πŸ™„
I’ve made posts about this before but felt impelled to do another -because that’s why I blog πŸ˜†. I’ve been my leanest (or so the leanest I allowed myself to get for my bucket list ‘amateur physique competition’ which was no where near as lean as others get). Weighing in at 106 my lowest and unrealistic to maintain for ME! [I like to eat a variety of food and even though I’m pretty habitual with my meals that was even to much for me.] Now my weight reflects a realistic # and I’m comfortable with it.

Lady Gaga (I assume) clearly is comfortable with her body too, being a very confident person, if she didn’t feel good in her skin wouldn’t have worn something she didn’t want to.

So I believe she stands perfectly healthy and beautiful in her skin and it’s the haters holding her to perfection that puts such a bad vibe out on society.

Young impressionable minds would see her and instead of seeing ‘comfortable and confident’ they read the hates and think if that’s not good enough “I’m not” (as they look in the mirror and pinch their own bellies). Punching skin between your fingers doesn’t make you fat!

Happy and healthy ~ Confident and comfortable is the key! Haters will hate– love yourself!

I am 35 yrs. old -a Wife and Mother to a Beautiful Boy and my Rainbow Baby Girl. I am a dance and fitness instructor. I own a fitness studio where I offer a variety of fitness classes in the evenings. I recently have become a FULL TIME Fitness Coach after 3+ years of working as a Day Care Assistant after having my Son and leaving my Emotionally Taxing Case Management Position. Fitness is my passion! I love to work out on my own AND with others! Throughout my both of my pregnancies I continued to work out on my own and with Beachbody programs, live my dream of being a work from home mom (for most of the day), and teach at my studio (and other locations) in the evening. After the birth of my son I have worked hard to get my pre-preg. body back. Shaun T's T25 was initial program and then Tony's P90X3 BOTH which I loved the short affective times because with having a newborn baby that was EXACTLY what I needed. I know and understand the self discipline it takes to achieve your desired goals and I am still on that path and have my struggles as everyone else does! I love to offer my support to my clientele with group fitness classes I offer in my community and I feel we work as a team all together to HELP each other. I LOVE offering my support via the web too as I REACH other people that I can't physically see. IT IS AMAZINGLY rewarding and I can't imagine NOT doing what I do! Im currently on my postpartum journey once again and so GRATEFUL and BLESSED to live this healthy lifestyle, lead by example for my family, and support others on their journey too!

I wish I had Lady Gaga’s body! No, I take that back. I am working hard to have the best body that I can have. Sarah just happens to be my Beachbody Coach and a dear friend (friend first!) and I learn daily how to do what it takes to turn my body into my own masterpiece, whatever that may be. Having given birth to four children I may always have something to pinch in my midsection. That “pinch” was earned each time I carried one of God’s gifts to me.

Time to go workout! Embrace who YOU are. Don’t ever let someone else’s opinion suck you into THEIR negativity – usually people who have something to say about others aren’t happy with themselves.
