Negative Nancy’s….

Yesterday was Monday Mindset- in my group we opened up with a BONUS CHALLENGE.I asked them “Since you’ve started your journey WHAT negative remarks, comments, ‘digs’ have you received from people?? AND how did you handle it???”

Out of 40+ people just under 1/2 of them mentioned receiving negativity from someone during their journey. 

It doesn’t surprise me BUT does baffles me as to WHY this happens! 

I do have to say The AWESOME thing is that MORE than 1/2 of the group mentioned they had lots of support and positive encouragement. Which is fantastic!! 

BUT there still was/is some negativity when it comes to others making lifestyle changes. WHY?! Because it’s CHANGE! 

We need to show our support to one another! This is a HEALTHY choice — I’m NOT about preaching starvation or fad diets. I’m about. Lifestyle change. Feeding the body GOOD

FOOD and getting physical activity in!! That’s my belief and my passion as a coach. 

So why do we push people down?

It’s the other persons Mindset!! 

WE have to have the stronger mindset to NOT let them bring you down!! They’ll come around (hopefully) when they see how happy and healthy you feel! 

•Strong is the new skinny–it’s not about getting ‘skinnier’ –it’s about toning and feeling strong enough to carry their kids around if they need.

•It isn’t about ‘losing MORE weight’ it’s about lowering -reducing the need for medical intervention for current illnesses. 

•It’s about feeling confident and happy in ones own skin. 

•’Eat something’ –where were you when I was ‘over eating and 30lbs over weight’ NOW I eat the right portions for fueling my body–ITS ABOUT EATING TO LIVE -NOT- LIVING TO EAT!! 

~I can go on forever BUT I think I’ve made my point!! EMPOWER & SUPPORT each other! 

It takes time. It takes effort. It isn’t always easy. BUT with time, dedication, & determination it’s all worth it in the end!!

I am 35 yrs. old -a Wife and Mother to a Beautiful Boy and my Rainbow Baby Girl. I am a dance and fitness instructor. I own a fitness studio where I offer a variety of fitness classes in the evenings. I recently have become a FULL TIME Fitness Coach after 3+ years of working as a Day Care Assistant after having my Son and leaving my Emotionally Taxing Case Management Position. Fitness is my passion! I love to work out on my own AND with others! Throughout my both of my pregnancies I continued to work out on my own and with Beachbody programs, live my dream of being a work from home mom (for most of the day), and teach at my studio (and other locations) in the evening. After the birth of my son I have worked hard to get my pre-preg. body back. Shaun T's T25 was initial program and then Tony's P90X3 BOTH which I loved the short affective times because with having a newborn baby that was EXACTLY what I needed. I know and understand the self discipline it takes to achieve your desired goals and I am still on that path and have my struggles as everyone else does! I love to offer my support to my clientele with group fitness classes I offer in my community and I feel we work as a team all together to HELP each other. I LOVE offering my support via the web too as I REACH other people that I can't physically see. IT IS AMAZINGLY rewarding and I can't imagine NOT doing what I do! Im currently on my postpartum journey once again and so GRATEFUL and BLESSED to live this healthy lifestyle, lead by example for my family, and support others on their journey too!
