HAPPY MONDAY!!! + GIVEAWAY!! {Read on to see how YOU can get this!}
Sooooo this AM I shared with my ROCKSTAR SURVIVORS about one of my favorite books!!
“The Compound Effect” by Darren Hardy
It’s based on the principle that your everyday decisions shape your life ahead!
These LITTLE everyday decisions you take in life will either lead you the desired outcome you want OR a compounding undesired outcome.
Really think about it! Those tiny, everyday decisions that COMPOUND over time:
The dish after dish in the sink
The piled up laundry
The list of To-dos
The cookie after cookie
These decisions that COMPOUND over time make BIG changes and drastic results. Little things that are EASY to do…BUT also not so fun and easy to say “I don’t feel like it…not now”.
Think about how if you washed that dish every time you went to put it in the sink YOU wouldn’t end up having a sink full of dishes to do later.
Or if you practiced 10 push-ups every morning when you woke up that would be 3,650 push-ups by the end of the year….in fact I betcha you’d be getting stronger and be doing more than 10 every morning 😉.
How about this one–> you may think oh the extra 100 calorie beverage a day– NO BIGGIE– WELL if you wipe that out just think that’s 36,500 calories LESS consumed in a year. Had you decided to drink that/eat that extra 100 calories a day you will have gained 10.5lbs by the end of the year if you’re not doing any physical activity to burn those calories and more.
THAT is the COMPOUND Effect!!
One more example. Maybe you go and buy that quick coffee and snack everyday $5. That is $1825 by the end of the year you could have saved.
This isn’t a fictional entertainment book. It’s a TAKE TIME to Educate & Love Yourself book!
****I LOVE this book and I’d LOVE to hear from those who love reading, or listening to their books, would think this could help them out!!
Comment below: WHERE do you struggle and find yourself COMPOUNDING in your daily actions!****
Once we hit 25 comments winner will be picked!!
