DIY Moisturzing Oil/Facial Cleanser

I use this mix as an oil cleanser in the evening. My face feels incredible smooth after! It’s like a mini self spa facial treatment! 

What I do: 

-rinse face/wipe face with wet washcloth & pat dry

-Rub oil on face

-Using hot water wet washcloth

-Place washcloth on face while hot -relax and take some deep breaths (could even put a drop or 2 of  favorite EO [essential oil]) -Once wash cloth cools repeat 2 more times and on 3rd wipe face with cloth (avoid eye area if an EO could still be lingering on washcloth)

My concoction: 

Base oil: 3 types

Apricot kernel oil (great for any skin type, but especially good for normal, dry, and aging skin)*

Sweet almond oil (just an all-around great facial oil)*

Grapeseed oil (great for normal, oily, or acne-prone skin)*

Nurturing oil: Tamanu oil (wonderful for acneic or oily skin, or skin with scars)*

Essential Oil: Lavender (acne, oily, or even dry skin – lavender is healing)*

Equal parts with base oil. Nurturing oil is more concentrated so my tamunu came in small amount so used whole amount. As for the essential oil, a little goes a long way, so just a few drops of that. 

I put it in a little convenient pump dispenser and BAM done 😃

I am 40 yrs. old -a Wife and Mother of 4 (Funny Double Digit Boy, my Rainbow Baby Sassy Girl, my Blue Eyed Silly Boy, and my Sweet-as-can-be Baby Girl). Once a dance instructor and fitness studio owner (closed the doors in 2020). I found my passion in Fitness and Coaching after leaving my Emotionally Taxing Case Management Position. I love to work out on my own AND with others! Throughout all 5 of my pregnancies I continued to work out on my own, run, and with Beachbody programs. I know and understand the self discipline it takes to achieve your desired goals and I am still on that path and have my struggles as everyone else does! I love to offer my support to my clientele with group fitness classes I offer in my community and I feel we work as a team all together to HELP each other. I LOVE offering my support via the web too as I REACH other people that I can't physically see. IT IS AMAZINGLY rewarding and I can't imagine NOT having that as part of my life! Im currently on my postpartum journey once again and so GRATEFUL and BLESSED to live this healthy lifestyle, lead by example for my family, and support others on their journey too!
