Fiber Friday-😝

Let’s talk Fiber. #Fiberfriday-why not!

Fiber~ It’s not what it does– It’s what it takes away.

Did you know that it has the ability to grab excess hormones like estrogen, cholesterol, and potentially harmful compounds and whisk them out of the body. Ridding you if toxins that, if left to linger too long in your digestive tract, could cause damage, including upping your risk of breast and colon cancer, as well as other diseases. 😳

Fiber 101: soluble and insoluble

Insoluble fiber acts like an exfoliant, scrubbing your digestive tract.

Soluble fiber works like a sponge, soaking up any icky stuff that’s been sloughed off and takes it out of your body.

Some fabulous fiber boosters are chia and flax:

Try this special mix:

Cinnamon-Dried orange peel-Ground chia

Mix equal parts in shaker jar and sprinkle on your high fiber foods (whole grain toast, oats, fruit etc)

You should consume 30-35 grams (35-40 for males) of fiber per day. Start gradually 😉

I am 40 yrs. old -a Wife and Mother of 4 (Funny Double Digit Boy, my Rainbow Baby Sassy Girl, my Blue Eyed Silly Boy, and my Sweet-as-can-be Baby Girl). Once a dance instructor and fitness studio owner (closed the doors in 2020). I found my passion in Fitness and Coaching after leaving my Emotionally Taxing Case Management Position. I love to work out on my own AND with others! Throughout all 5 of my pregnancies I continued to work out on my own, run, and with Beachbody programs. I know and understand the self discipline it takes to achieve your desired goals and I am still on that path and have my struggles as everyone else does! I love to offer my support to my clientele with group fitness classes I offer in my community and I feel we work as a team all together to HELP each other. I LOVE offering my support via the web too as I REACH other people that I can't physically see. IT IS AMAZINGLY rewarding and I can't imagine NOT having that as part of my life! Im currently on my postpartum journey once again and so GRATEFUL and BLESSED to live this healthy lifestyle, lead by example for my family, and support others on their journey too!
