I hear this often…”Im lacking motivation”…WELL here’s my truth! Im not always motivated myself!!

My little girl caught a cold and this past week her nights of sleep have been pretty poor WHICH of course impact my sleep. One night she was up practically every 15 minutes until I held her in my recliner chair so she could breath while sleeping.

I got hardly ANY sleep that night and it seemed even the nights she was up 2x vs 5x the sleep I did was crappy anyway. I also caught her cold so was feeling crappy myself. So I took it easy on my ME workouts this week.

Soooo yea…I’ll let you in on my secret —> Sometimes it’s just 💯 discipline and 0% motivation! I am tired. My mind feels overwhelmed with other things going on. I just want to take a nap…..and so on.

But when you’ve made working out a lifestyle habit it feels funky when you miss your routine. So as much as I wasn’t all that MOTIVATED today to do my ME workout I put on my disciplined shoes and did one. {Not just for me but for everyone else in my home too hahahahaha #crankymommy}.

—Friends. You aren’t always going to feel like it or feel motivated…INSTEAD find that discipline because you KNOW you NEED it! Once you discipline yourself to do what you MAY NOT feel like doing BUT you KNOW it’s good for you…it makes it easier to JUST DO IT!

So next time when you find yourself saying “I’m just not motivated to workout. I wish I could find the motivation to change!!” Stop and just DO! Make it a lifestyle habit! Discipline yourself!
