We learn as we grow.


I was that girl in high school who ate bagels and cream cheese for lunch with a pint of Ben and Gerry’s.


I was that girl who *wasn’t* (thats was not) over weight but JUST LIKE MANY had a the WRONG *diet* mentality. At that time I had the skinnyfit mindset always wanted more tone but didn’t do it in the healthiest way. I took energy diet pills to run. Didn’t eat balanced or nearly healthy enough. Sugar was a HUGE food group for me. AKA I ate ALOT of empty calories. I was that sugar addicted girl who bought sour patch kids and swedish fish by the BULK bags.


Fast forward to realizing that CHANGE was important in how I was feeling in order to become who I wanted to FEEL like.


Before making that MINDSET SHIFT, I still wasn’t overly overweight BUT I wasn’t healthy either. I remember being around 130lbs at my 5’ 1&1/2” frame.


Enter more consistency with physical activity (not just here and there spurts and when I felt like it etc). *Weekly* consistency.


Enter learning about Clean eating and how nutrition is key in a healthy body. FEED the body fuel. Eat to LIVE not live to eat.


Obviously there’s no MAGIC spell, trick, or tip. It’s not an overnight journey. All this awareness started around 2006 for me. Clearly Consistency. Self-awareness. Self-Desire. Has played a part in my journey as we live in 2018 now.


My current journey — Now as I near the end of my 2nd pregnancy I have never felt better about my choices and healthy state of mind. The inability to move or workout like I did before doesn’t define me. Before my mindset would be stuck on #s no matter the reason behind it. We LEARN AS WE GROW! My growing baby and 32lb “weight gain” — The # didn’t and doesn’t define me.


Everybody and every BODY is different. No matter your journey! It starts with the mindset! Self-Educate. Self-Love. Self-Acceptance. Self-Care. Start with KNOWING what needs to change, UNDERSTANDING what to do, TAKING ACTION in the most healthy way! ❤️

I am 35 yrs. old -a Wife and Mother to a Beautiful Boy and my Rainbow Baby Girl. I am a dance and fitness instructor. I own a fitness studio where I offer a variety of fitness classes in the evenings. I recently have become a FULL TIME Fitness Coach after 3+ years of working as a Day Care Assistant after having my Son and leaving my Emotionally Taxing Case Management Position. Fitness is my passion! I love to work out on my own AND with others! Throughout my both of my pregnancies I continued to work out on my own and with Beachbody programs, live my dream of being a work from home mom (for most of the day), and teach at my studio (and other locations) in the evening. After the birth of my son I have worked hard to get my pre-preg. body back. Shaun T's T25 was initial program and then Tony's P90X3 BOTH which I loved the short affective times because with having a newborn baby that was EXACTLY what I needed. I know and understand the self discipline it takes to achieve your desired goals and I am still on that path and have my struggles as everyone else does! I love to offer my support to my clientele with group fitness classes I offer in my community and I feel we work as a team all together to HELP each other. I LOVE offering my support via the web too as I REACH other people that I can't physically see. IT IS AMAZINGLY rewarding and I can't imagine NOT doing what I do! Im currently on my postpartum journey once again and so GRATEFUL and BLESSED to live this healthy lifestyle, lead by example for my family, and support others on their journey too!
