Sometimes we sleep in…or….sometimes your just not hungry when we wake…right? 😴😶


So. When time isn’t on my side or little man is just NOT wanting to eat yet — I feel good knowing he is getting in a balanced nutritious breakfast EVEN if it’s not a labor of love…and I’ve found it’s just NOT worth the stress on either of us in the AM with trying, begging, & getting grumpy trying to make him eat. #noneedformomguilt


So a little shakey shakey 👍🏻

I could send him to school and he could get breakfast there (which he does ask to do once in awhile) BUT without my monitoring he may choose something that isn’t the greatest of choices (ie. Apple Jacks or something else that I just personally don’t like him eating at 8am— there’s nothing nutritious about that and it’s sugar loaded dessert cereal) – yes I’m that picky Mom who wants him having whole food, real food, or at least the “better choice processed option”.


So I’m much more confident and comfortable shaking up one of these bad boys for him & he loves it (actually chocolate is his favorite— this is what he knows Chocolate Milk as in our home) [& other times we make our shakes with frozen berries and fresh spinach ourselves – it’s like an ice cream dessert 🤤yum!]

Clean eating isn’t just for adults — it NEEDS to start with our kids so they grow up knowing what’s better.

I’ll never understand when I hear an adult say “I’m working on my nutrition and eating better” -YET will hand their kids something they’ve decided they shouldn’t eat themselves anymore. OR SAY I can’t buy “healthy food for me” and buy the other stuff for the rest of my family. NO 😖 – everyone should learn to eat healthier choices for your HEALTHSAKE. I’m not one for depriving yourself of a tasty treat or maybe your FAV FOOD. BUT I am one for making it yourself – knowing what’s IN IT – appropriate balance and portions.

I am 35 yrs. old -a Wife and Mother to a Beautiful Boy and my Rainbow Baby Girl. I am a dance and fitness instructor. I own a fitness studio where I offer a variety of fitness classes in the evenings. I recently have become a FULL TIME Fitness Coach after 3+ years of working as a Day Care Assistant after having my Son and leaving my Emotionally Taxing Case Management Position. Fitness is my passion! I love to work out on my own AND with others! Throughout my both of my pregnancies I continued to work out on my own and with Beachbody programs, live my dream of being a work from home mom (for most of the day), and teach at my studio (and other locations) in the evening. After the birth of my son I have worked hard to get my pre-preg. body back. Shaun T's T25 was initial program and then Tony's P90X3 BOTH which I loved the short affective times because with having a newborn baby that was EXACTLY what I needed. I know and understand the self discipline it takes to achieve your desired goals and I am still on that path and have my struggles as everyone else does! I love to offer my support to my clientele with group fitness classes I offer in my community and I feel we work as a team all together to HELP each other. I LOVE offering my support via the web too as I REACH other people that I can't physically see. IT IS AMAZINGLY rewarding and I can't imagine NOT doing what I do! Im currently on my postpartum journey once again and so GRATEFUL and BLESSED to live this healthy lifestyle, lead by example for my family, and support others on their journey too!
