You can’t outrun your fork.
I’m always reminding my challengers that you need to work on both nutrition AND physical activity! So many people I’ve spoken to USE the excuse of ‘OH I worked out today soooo I can over indulge in my meals’.
Yes I talk 80/20 (80% clean eating 20% indulgences) BUT if one does that every time they workout they’re just negating their hard work.
•If your goal is to lose weight…you have to burn more calories than you eat.
•Its said that 1lb of fat loss requires 3500 calories of exercise.
So for example just using my app -it says I burn 470 calories for 1-hour of running.
Soooo someone doing the same would have to run over 7 hrs for 1lb fat loss. OR run at least 1 hr a day for 7 days.
You can eat a muffin and fancy coffee and have consumed 1000+ calories in 10 minutes.
WHHAATTT
Sooooo JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT you can decide to spend all week running and still not get ahead OR you can be even more conscious and self aware of what you eat and spend less time working out.
BALANCE friends. BALANCE!! You need to be realistic about your goals!!
I am 40 yrs. old -a Wife and Mother of 4 (Funny Double Digit Boy, my Rainbow Baby Sassy Girl, my Blue Eyed Silly Boy, and my Sweet-as-can-be Baby Girl). Once a dance instructor and fitness studio owner (closed the doors in 2020). I found my passion in Fitness and Coaching after leaving my Emotionally Taxing Case Management Position. I love to work out on my own AND with others! Throughout all 5 of my pregnancies I continued to work out on my own, run, and with Beachbody programs. I know and understand the self discipline it takes to achieve your desired goals and I am still on that path and have my struggles as everyone else does! I love to offer my support to my clientele with group fitness classes I offer in my community and I feel we work as a team all together to HELP each other. I LOVE offering my support via the web too as I REACH other people that I can't physically see. IT IS AMAZINGLY rewarding and I can't imagine NOT having that as part of my life! Im currently on my postpartum journey once again and so GRATEFUL and BLESSED to live this healthy lifestyle, lead by example for my family, and support others on their journey too!
