So I HAVE to share my experience with the Ultimate Reset. (LONG POST but if curious read away!)
This was a 21 day detox/reset. Clean eating-Whole food eating! It isn’t a starve yourself -UNREALISTIC cleanse!!
I’ll be honest with my experience! But let me give a little background on my typical personal routine.
•I workout 6days a week in the AM -it’s a ‘My Time’ workout from home (either workout program or run) and I also teach fitness classes 5 days a week at my studio and at a local college.
•I eat pretty clean 80% of the time and am a ‘selective vegetarian’ I call myself -meaning I don’t eat meat often and when I do I’m very selective about what meat and where I get it from. Most of my protein I eat is from fish or eggs.
•I have my alarm wake me some morning as 4:45 if I’m running at 5:15 OR wake me at 6am for my program workouts AND then work until 3:30 and go teach my afternoon and evening classes. I finish around 7pm and head home for evening routine and work till 10:30-12am (I’m a Dreamcatcher)
So you may be wondering WHY I’m telling you this?!
Well after my AWESOME earned trip to the Bahamas and Jamaica for being a hard working coach, my body just wasn’t the same. I felt I ate well BUT food wasn’t prepared he way I typically eat my food. So I decided I’d give ‘Food’ and super nutrients a try to ‘reset and health’ my body!
I started the reset WELL PREPARED and aware of what I was doing. 3 weeks to RECLAIM. RELEASE. RESTORE. It recommends restorative workouts (i.e. Yoga or another low intensity type workout) and also starts you off eating selective protein sources and then weans you off of them for a total vegetarian based diet. It includes WHOLE FOOD supplements to help work with your body to reset and restore you body.
Within the first week I felt the effects of the change in diet. I wasn’t consuming as much protein as I typically do and that in addition to still working out made me weak and very tired & because of that I did end up trying to go to sleep earlier when possible vs my typical late working hours. BUT that didn’t stop me!! By week 2 I was noticing a big change internally. I seemed to be feeling more myself! I posted my meals and the supplement pics (the power greens and detox mix) but I’m a creature of habit and stuck with repetitive eating OF ONLY the foods allowed. By week 3 my energy levels were feeling more back to normal (MAY HAVE indulged a bit –>over-portioned helpings of berries and some peanut butter BUT still stuck with the plan!!)
-Never did I stray from the meals or allowed food! –
Now as I’ve finished this 21 day reset I DID NOT go in with intentions to lose weight but to ‘fix’ my system! It says within the plan weight loss is a probability BUT that wasn’t the reason I did this.
Now upon completion –> Day 22 I am proud to say I feel BACK to myself 99% & I was surprised but I did actually lose 1lb and 4.5inches <– AGAIN that wasn’t my focus at all!
If you feel you’re body needs a reset AND YOU’RE WILLING TO TRY WHOLE FOODS AS A FIX—WILLING TO INVEST SOME TIME AND $ (yes, I said it- the dirty word $$-seriously though it’s like that post I made earlier last week though–you think food is expensive–wait for medical expenses when your body really starts reacting to the crap within it) I would be HAPPY to chat with you in more detail!!! I’m not trying to SELL you – I’m simply sharing my experience and how awesome I feel today at day 22!! Thats why I say if anyone’s interested in investing into yourself, as I did to myself, I’d be happy to chat with you!
I’m a HAPPY customer of this and can only share my success with others in hopes to help inspire or encourage someone to try it out for themselves!!
