This picture was taken on Wednesday when we were doing yoga at the park. A Bald Eagle flew down the river and landed on a tree across from us. Of course we had to do ‘eagle pose’ in honor of the moment. (Photo shout out to Dawn for the image of this Bald Eagle she took just a couple days before up the river!)
In this book I was reading a reference to life was made in discussion to a crow and an eagle. In it, the birds symbolize ourself and someone that always seems to pick and get us down.
YOU need to be the Eagle! That other person obviously is the crow!
In nature a crow will follow an eagle and ‘annoy it’ in flight. That is relatable to ourselves in life right? We have someone who gets under our skin–maybe they don’t believe in us, maybe they seem to find joy in putting us down?! They tease and upset us.
Well it’s time to be the eagle. To be smarter than that crow. The eagle can fly at heights a crow can’t. So when the eagle has had enough it doesn’t bother ‘fighting’ the crow. The eagle simply starts to fly higher and higher. Becoming one above that crow!
We need to stand tall…stand higher…stand stronger…stand wiser than those people who try to get you down!! Never let them win. Outsmart them. Show them you won’t let them pull you down with them.
Believing in yourself is key!! Standing up for yourself is key!! Be the eagle!!
