Why do people give in and give up–> claiming they failed!? Because they forget that everything takes time! We can’t shut our eyes and open them and be our ‘ideal’ or be living every detail of our ‘dream life’!
Society today is used to instant gratification-technology has brought us that BUT there are some things technology CAN NOT do -and- WE need to do those things for ourselves 1 step at a time!
I promise those ‘ONE STEPPERS’ will COMPOUND upon each other. As long as you keep going, ONE DAY you’ll open your eyes and see what you want to see! We need to FAIL FORWARD! We need to take all those mishaps, REMIND OURSELVES we CAN do this, and keep moving along one step at a time!
Tell yourself that TODAY you’ll be better than you were YESTERDAY! One minute more of cardio…one better meal choice…one more positive thought…one tv show less (or FB scroll) & more productive time with family or other priority.
Think small, make small forward moving choices each day AND in moments we think we’ve failed…call it failing forward–try to find something positive out of it and move on!
