Out of mayo at home and want to make some deviled eggs or tuna salad?!?
I just made some Mayo for the first time and not my last either! I don’t use mayonnaise very much and when I decided what I wanted for dinner and wanted a little mayo for it I noticed I didn’t have any in the fridge I thought AH HA…make my own!!
So I did!!

So…not going to lie…messed it up the first time…..but I attempted to fix it AND I did!! Next time I’ll know what to do now ๐Ÿ™‚
What you need:

Immersion blender

Container that will fit blender

2 egg yolks (room temp)

1/2 cup olive oil

Squeeze of fresh lemon

Salt & pepper or other flavor additives (ie. garlic, cayenne pepper, etc)

So…to prep set your eggs out ahead of time so their room temp or place in some warm water if don’t want to wait.

Pour 1/2 cup of oil and set aside
Squeeze lemon (1/2 to 1 Tbsp your choice) in container you’re making mayo in & add your egg yolk.

Place blender right down to bottom of container and start to blend until egg thickens some. Slowly pour in oil a little at a time and blend-keep thick consistency to much oil at once will mess it up. Once all added and blended add your salt and pepper (or other flavor fixes) and blend again.

DONE. REFRIGERATE what you don’t use ๐Ÿ‘

I love to offer my support to my clientele with group fitness classes I offer in my community and I feel we work as a team all together to HELP each other. I LOVE offering my support via the web too as I REACH other people that I can't physically see. IT IS AMAZINGLY rewarding and I can't imagine NOT having that as part of my life! Im currently on my postpartum journey once again and so GRATEFUL and BLESSED to live this healthy lifestyle, lead by example for my family, and support others on their journey too!
