Ok. So I like to KNOW what I’m putting into my body AND I eat alot of salad! Call me a rabbit!! I went from the store bought ranch dressing kinda girl to straight up oil and balsamic vinegar OR JUST a bit of balsamic vinegar drizzled on it. I thought I’d try out a little twist on citrus and WALAH love it!! Citrus Hemp Seed Dressing!
Hemp seed is a great source of vitamins and omega 3’s and more! It’s nutty flavor paired really well with these other ingredients adding a creaminess with the contrasting citrus flavors! Check out the photo below with some listings of the benefits if hemp seed!
Make it yourself
1/4 C Fresh squeeze Orange Juice (I added in the pulp of an 1/8 of my orange)
1/4 C Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
1 Tbsp Olive Oil or Avocado Oil
2 Tbsp Raw Shelled Hemp Seed
1/2 tsp Minced Garlic
Sprinkle of Salt & Pepper
Blend in blender and enjoy!! Refrigerate – Shake before serving as it will separate.
I ate it with salmon on my salad and it was delishhhh!
I made a few batches of this but for a few servings alone you really only need 1 large orange & 1 large lime.
