I just made this little yummy! 
A friend of mine shared the recipe and it sounded so good I literally made it as soon as I got home from work. 
I made a small batch initially to check it out. I loved it and decided to make more for future snacking! I altered her original measurements a little for my tasting. 
Raw Vegan Halvah

Ingredients:

1&1/2 Cup Sunflower Seed (unsalted)

2 1/2 Tbsp Coconut Oil 

3 Tbsp Tahini

2 Tbsp Honey (the real kind πŸ˜‰πŸ‘-I used a local honey)

1 Tsp vanilla 

Chia Seeds
This is of course customizable to your taste!! 

Mill or blend the sunflower seeds into a flour/meal consistency. 

Add all other ingredients and pulse to mix. Once mixed press into flat container, sprinkle with chia seeds, and refrigerate for 40mins or so. 

Once hardened cut into bars and ENJOY!

I am 40 yrs. old -a Wife and Mother of 4 (Funny Double Digit Boy, my Rainbow Baby Sassy Girl, my Blue Eyed Silly Boy, and my Sweet-as-can-be Baby Girl). Once a dance instructor and fitness studio owner (closed the doors in 2020). I found my passion in Fitness and Coaching after leaving my Emotionally Taxing Case Management Position. I love to work out on my own AND with others! Throughout all 5 of my pregnancies I continued to work out on my own, run, and with Beachbody programs. I know and understand the self discipline it takes to achieve your desired goals and I am still on that path and have my struggles as everyone else does! I love to offer my support to my clientele with group fitness classes I offer in my community and I feel we work as a team all together to HELP each other. I LOVE offering my support via the web too as I REACH other people that I can't physically see. IT IS AMAZINGLY rewarding and I can't imagine NOT having that as part of my life! Im currently on my postpartum journey once again and so GRATEFUL and BLESSED to live this healthy lifestyle, lead by example for my family, and support others on their journey too!
