Be the EAGLE 🦅

Thursday AM I stood and watched an Eagle for awhile in a tree. 1 & 1/2hrs later I was driving towards that same location and had hopes to still see it in the tree. INSTEAD I got something better. Out of my peripheral vision I saw something huge start to move. It was the Eagle. It was on the ground and taking flight. I flew next to my car, gaining speed and height until it was ahead of me and flew into the trees again. .

I was in awe. The massive power and beauty I witness. All I could do was tell my boys to look out the window to see it. I stopped but didn’t want to take my eyes off to even look for my phone to get a photo.

.

This memory keeps revisiting me and IRONICALLY I had a timeline memory post pop up in my newsfeed this morning that was quite fitting. It was an Eagle post. In it I shared this bit of advice (which is such a great reminder) and felt the need to share it again today:
In nature a crow will follow an eagle and ‘annoy it’ and bother it in flight. That is relatable to ourselves in life right? We have someone who gets under our skin–someone who intentionally bothers/upset us.
Well it’s time to be the eagle. To be smarter than that crow. The eagle can fly at heights a crow can’t. So when the eagle has had enough it doesn’t bother ‘fighting’ the crow. The eagle simply starts to fly higher and higher. Becoming one above that crow!
We need to stand tall…stand higher…stand stronger…stand wiser than those people who try to get you down!! Never let them win. Outsmart them.
Believing in yourself is key!! Standing up for yourself is key!! Be the eagle!!

I am 40 yrs. old -a Wife and Mother of 4 (Funny Double Digit Boy, my Rainbow Baby Sassy Girl, my Blue Eyed Silly Boy, and my Sweet-as-can-be Baby Girl). Once a dance instructor and fitness studio owner (closed the doors in 2020). I found my passion in Fitness and Coaching after leaving my Emotionally Taxing Case Management Position. I love to work out on my own AND with others! Throughout all 5 of my pregnancies I continued to work out on my own, run, and with Beachbody programs. I know and understand the self discipline it takes to achieve your desired goals and I am still on that path and have my struggles as everyone else does! I love to offer my support to my clientele with group fitness classes I offer in my community and I feel we work as a team all together to HELP each other. I LOVE offering my support via the web too as I REACH other people that I can't physically see. IT IS AMAZINGLY rewarding and I can't imagine NOT having that as part of my life! Im currently on my postpartum journey once again and so GRATEFUL and BLESSED to live this healthy lifestyle, lead by example for my family, and support others on their journey too!
