Your excuse could be your reason!

Ever have someone who has inspired you and impacted you so much without them really even being aware?!
This guy did for me. I’ve had the privilege to workout LIVE with him a number of times and LOVED it every time!! He is such an inspiring and motivational person. He has a way with words to NOT ONLY make you push harder to workout BUT to make you think and feel blessed!

10+ years ago I was told I had spondylolisthesis. A stress fracture in my back that caused me pain and discomfort. I was getting steroid injections into my spine around the age of 19. After time passed I was then told one of my vertebra had basically disintegrated and if the injections didn’t help a spinal fusion was next. WHAT?! At this point I was only 25 years old.

I would say that I was a fairly active -in high school I ran cross country and track, I was a cheerleader, danced, took some gymnastics classes, and did competitive cheerleading while I lived in Mexico for a year.

I decided that since I was now really limited on my activity (dance and gymnastics I had to be careful with) I would get more active in other ways. I started going to a gym and taking fitness classes. I than fell in LOVE with Insanity. I incorporated Shaun T’s Insanity workouts into my routine and his CONSTANT reminder of hold your core continuously played in my head…I would watch myself and make sure I held my core…AND –>not making this up!!<– I credit that to strengthening my core enough and constantly being aware of it TO THE FACT that I no longer needed to get injections OR the need for surgery!!

I could have used my back as an excuse BUT NO instead it became my reason!!

Dig deep (as Shaun T would say) and BELIEVE–what ever your excuses are –> MOST LIKELY can be your REASON!!

I am 40 yrs. old -a Wife and Mother of 4 (Funny Double Digit Boy, my Rainbow Baby Sassy Girl, my Blue Eyed Silly Boy, and my Sweet-as-can-be Baby Girl). Once a dance instructor and fitness studio owner (closed the doors in 2020). I found my passion in Fitness and Coaching after leaving my Emotionally Taxing Case Management Position. I love to work out on my own AND with others! Throughout all 5 of my pregnancies I continued to work out on my own, run, and with Beachbody programs. I know and understand the self discipline it takes to achieve your desired goals and I am still on that path and have my struggles as everyone else does! I love to offer my support to my clientele with group fitness classes I offer in my community and I feel we work as a team all together to HELP each other. I LOVE offering my support via the web too as I REACH other people that I can't physically see. IT IS AMAZINGLY rewarding and I can't imagine NOT having that as part of my life! Im currently on my postpartum journey once again and so GRATEFUL and BLESSED to live this healthy lifestyle, lead by example for my family, and support others on their journey too!
