Thought for today….Gratitude Rocks!
Did you know that gratitude has an impact on your brain at a biological level?

Did you know that what some anti-depressants do…gratitude does too!

Releases Dopamine!

When we feel grateful we are actually activating the region of the brain that produces dopamine~> the organic chemical in our brains that makes you feel and do happy things!

So if you’re feeling down…do something that makes you think or feel grateful–>Pump up that feel good organic chemical!!

Need something to help you do this consistently? Pick a ‘Gratitude’ item. Ever time you touch or feel that item make yourself think or say something that you’re grateful for! Ie. I use my rings. Everytime I put them on or take them off OR see them OR if something draws my attention to feeling them on my finger–> I think of things I’m grateful for!

I am 40 yrs. old -a Wife and Mother of 4 (Funny Double Digit Boy, my Rainbow Baby Sassy Girl, my Blue Eyed Silly Boy, and my Sweet-as-can-be Baby Girl). Once a dance instructor and fitness studio owner (closed the doors in 2020). I found my passion in Fitness and Coaching after leaving my Emotionally Taxing Case Management Position. I love to work out on my own AND with others! Throughout all 5 of my pregnancies I continued to work out on my own, run, and with Beachbody programs. I know and understand the self discipline it takes to achieve your desired goals and I am still on that path and have my struggles as everyone else does! I love to offer my support to my clientele with group fitness classes I offer in my community and I feel we work as a team all together to HELP each other. I LOVE offering my support via the web too as I REACH other people that I can't physically see. IT IS AMAZINGLY rewarding and I can't imagine NOT having that as part of my life! Im currently on my postpartum journey once again and so GRATEFUL and BLESSED to live this healthy lifestyle, lead by example for my family, and support others on their journey too!
